BAEA overview

Welcome to Bangladesh Agricultural Economist Association (BAEA)

Bangladesh Agricultural Economic Association (BAEA) is the apex body of economists of Bangladesh. Its mandate includes to review agricultural economic and other development policies and programmes, conduct fundamental research on various aspects of economics, train teachers of economics of colleges and universities, train economic reporters of print and electronic media, organize conference / Seminars/ roundtables on important issues concerning economic and social development, and make recommendations to the government on key topical issues such as budget preparation and import policy making.

Currently BAEA is a professional of over 4000 membership including top economists in government, universities, banks, business and in other places of work.
